Online Portal Active for Non-Regular Board Examinees
Opening a vital avenue for non-regular students to sit for upcoming nationwide board exams, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) launched its online registration facility for Class 10 and Class 12 private candidates. Failed Candidates (2021–2026): Former students who appeared as regular candidates between 2021 and 2026 but were declared "Fail" or "Essential Repeat".

Submission Workflow and Documentation
To ensure data accuracy, candidate credentials for students who appeared in the 2026 board exams are auto-filled upon entering their prior roll number, school code, and center number. Applicants who appeared in 2025 or earlier must manually input their previous academic credentials.
CBSE mandates a valid email address to complete OTP verification before final submission. Applicants must upload a recent passport-sized photograph and signature (JPG format, under 40 KB each). Candidates are advised to select their preferred examination city carefully, as examination center allocations made by the board are final and cannot be altered.
