Now, they enjoy a cost-effective lifestyle in Italy, saving nearly $3,000 a month. “Our monthly costs here are around $1,200 for both of us,” Tony explained, which includes dining out, utilities, and other essentials.

Although their new home was livable, the couple opted for extensive renovations, investing an additional €80,000 (about $86,500) to upgrade the plumbing, electrical systems, and overall aesthetics of the property.
